The ideal candidate will have experience building responsive WordPress websites, customizing themes and plugins, optimizing website performance, and maintaining secure, high-quality websites. Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain WordPress websites.
• Build custom WordPress themes and plugins.
• Customize existing themes based on project requirements.
• Optimize website speed and performance.
• Ensure websites are mobile-friendly and responsive.
• Troubleshoot website issues and bugs.
• Implement website security best practices.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional WordPress development experience.
• Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL.
• Experience with Elementor, Gutenberg, and WooCommerce.
• Familiarity with Git version control.
• Understanding of SEO best practices.
• Experience optimizing Core Web Vitals and page speed.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred but not required).
• Experience with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF).
• Knowledge of REST API integrations.
• Basic understanding of React or modern JavaScript frameworks is a plus.
